2 Bedroom House in Zimmerwald, Wald
Vacation in architectural monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the foundation Vacation in architectural monument (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.

The living/dining room and kitchen are on the 1st floor. A mini-bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin was installed at a later date. A steep staircase leads to the 2nd floor, where the two bedrooms are located. The floors are made of wood, which is why we recommend good slippers.
