In this beautiful vacation home at Loddenhøj Strand there are many possibilities for activities, vacation and relaxation.
The house is bright in a beautiful Nordic style and decorated with art on the walls. There are terraces with morning and evening sun. You can expect a large living room in connection with a nice and well-equipped kitchen. Also, 4 bedrooms with good beds that have both summer and winter comforters, and a loft. Family friendly cottage Loddenhøj is very picturesquely surrounded by forest, beautiful sandy beach with jetty and a small dinghy harbor. The area is suitable for fishing, including sea trout.
The area is known for its hiking opportunities with many well maintained trails and roads. The village Barsmark consists of beautiful old houses and farms with thatched roofs in original architectural style. In the past, old wooden ships used to sail from here to China. This history can be seen in the museum on Kalvø, an idyllic island connected to the mainland by a small causeway.
Take a trip to Åbenrå, where you can also shop in the long pedestrian street and study the many distinctive old houses with special doors. The nearby town of Haderslev has a charming old town dominated by the town's impressive cathedral. For example, take a walk through Haderslev Steam Park by the city center. If you continue south, you will encounter Gråsten Castle, which is a meeting place for the royal family every summer. The park is open when the royal family is not staying there.
