Holiday Ha Grounds | House in Montclera, France
This holiday home is located between the Lot and Dordogne rivers and has a wonderful view of the wooded hills. It is a characteristic house with a lot of charm. In the garden, there is always a little corner to enjoy the sun. The lime tree provides shade when you need it. Garden furniture and barbecue are at your disposal! There's plenty of room for children to play on the enormous 4-hectare plot. Also, there is a tennis court, so perfect for enjoying a game or two with your pals! The house is connected to the fibre-optic network, so there's ultra-fast internet access. The house radiates a warm atmosphere thanks to the authentic wooden beams on the ceiling in the living room and kitchen. Access to the bedrooms is via an outside staircase.
You can do your shopping in Cazals (5 km). On Sundays there is a market: fresh produce straight from the fields, and at very low prices! There is also a swimming lake with a small beach, games and pedalo hire. Villefranche-du-Périgord (6 km) has a swimming pool.
There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Visit, for example, the wonderful village of Arques (6 km) and its Zadkine museum. And don't forget the medieval towns of Gourdon (20 km) and Cahors (29 km). In the latter, you can admire the drawbridge of the ancient fortress or simply do a bit of shopping. The Dordogne is not far away either, so be sure to visit the magnificent villages of Domme (26 km) and La-Roque-Gageac (29 km).
