By bus or car, you can reach the centre of Amsterdam within half an hour, but there is also plenty to do in the Edam area. Hire a bike or a whisper boat around the corner and discover the beautiful surroundings. In Edam, you will find specialised shops and cosy terraces. Volendam, Marken, Hoorn and Alkmaar are also worth a visit. In the holiday home, you will find plenty of inspiration for trips and cycling routes. The freshwater IJsselmeer is within walking distance. Swim and play in the playground. There is also a children's pool for small children.
The house is equipped with books, a chest full of toys, various musical instruments (recorder, ukulele, flute and mini accordion), board games and puzzles. The courtyard is sunny, spacious and equipped with comfortable chairs. Here you can end the day with a good glass of wine. Free parking is available in front of the door, and the spacious shower on the ground floor is easily accessible for the elderly. (E)-bikes can be stored and charged on the enclosed patio. Cars can be parked nearby -and usually in front of the door- free of charge. A crib, high chair, and stroller is available upon request and free of charge.
Upon arrival, the beds are made. You are kindly requested to respect the quiet atmosphere outside after 23:00.
A security deposit of EUR 92,50 will be required closer to your check-in date. You will receive a separate communication with the payment link. The security deposit ensures a smooth stay and covers any additional services such as cleaning, service charges, consumption, damages or any additional charges incurred during stay. Any balance from the deposit will be refunded within 21 days after checkout.
