1890 House | House in Adams

Back online after renovations. This beautiful Victorian farmhouse is situated on a 1/2 acre with great views of Mount Greylock, surrounding mountains and quaint town of Adams. The wraparound porch is perfect for relaxing. It is fully furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen. There is a wood stove in living room. Walking distance to Adams/supermarket. Short drive North Adams (MASSMoCA), Williamstown (Clark Museum) and Jiminy Peak (ski resort) which is 30 minutes drive.
The space
House is in perfect condition. It has been recently renovated.
There is a lovely porch which overlooks the large garden with a view of Mount Greylock. There are chairs in the garden area. The kitchen also overlooks the garden. The separate dining room opens to side porch. Living room has wood stove so please make sure you bring wood starters and/or newspapers. There is a ground floor bathroom and upstairs bathroom. The house has been furnished but not overly so, so it is light and airy. There is a master bedroom with queen size bed and a room facing Mount Greylock with full size bed. There is storage in each of the bedrooms. Sheets and towels are provided, along with necessary toiletries. We don't like to leave food lying around but there sometimes are basic supplies in the fridge and/or pantry.
Guest access
Entire house. There is front door and garden door by kitchen.
Access to very large garden. House is set on half an acre with fruit trees.
Please note that during the winter, although we have someone remove snow if it gets above a certain amount, it can get a bit tricky to access. So this is not for folks who use walking aids of any kind.
Other things to note
Please note that when making inquiry what animal or animals you intend to bring.
Please recycle as much as you can, especially glass. There is a recycling bin outside. You can mix glass, paper and plastic. PLEASE DO NOT PUT FOOD IN RECYCLING BIN. I find that some folks leave leftover pizza in pizza box and then think they are doing the right thing by recycling. Not so.
Please ensure that regular garbage is sealed properly and placed in large bin (green) with wheels.
I have the house for rent for a max. of 15 days. But upon request I can extend this.
