When you arrive at Wild Oak Farm you will leave the hustle and bustle of your daily life behind. The 700-foot long driveway leads you to the Tree House which is perched in the center of the 25 acre property. Enter the doorway under the house and ascend the spiral staircase into your vacation retreat. You will not be disappointed. The Tree House exemplifies rustic elegance; from the massive granite fireplace and incense-cedar trunk that are the centerpoints of the entire house, to the uncluttered, yet well-appointed bedrooms and full amenity kitchen.
The Tree House is a three bedroom, two bath house perfect for families and friends looking for the unique vacation home with lots of special touches. Each bedroom has views to the majestic old-growth oaks that forest the property. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a sliding door that leads directly to the wrap-around deck. The Loft Room has a olympic queen-size bed on the main floor and a full-size bed in the sleeping loft (a kid favorite). The Triangle Room has a queen-size bed, and features local Yosemite art. The Tree House comfortably accommodates six adults and can accommodate more in the loft and the sleeper couch in the family room.
The house is wrapped by a wooden deck that provides views into the surrounding mountains. You can access the deck via the french-doors in the kitchen. The hammock on the slate back deck is a shady retreat in the summertime. The hot tub is a great place to unwind after hiking in Yosemite all day and has great views of the stars and surrounding mountains.

Summary: This stay was supposed to be our launching off point for day trips into Yosemite (which it would have been perfect for) but the heavy storms and some car trouble changed that to a shelter in cabin week. Luckily, this cabin was a perfect place to hunker down, slow our pace, and enjoy a tremendous storm from the huge beautiful living room windows! The property is gorgeous, the hot tub was lovely, and it had so much space for our family of 4. We never left for 6 days and could have stayed longer. There were games, awesome nature inspired kids books, well appointed kitchen (felt like home) and very comfortable beds. My daughter checked the brand on hers in hopes we would buy one! Can’t say enough about the friendly and prompt communication with the host. He was awesome and made everything so easy. The few minor things that came up (dishwasher broke, as these things do) he was very responsive and helpful. Our family did not go expecting to be stuck in a house for our whole trip, but it ended up being a magical (and wild due to weather) experience that recharged us all! We even explore the property a bit and enjoyed the herd of deer that visited each day and the great birdwatching. Hope to come again soon!!
