Estate features 10 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths, including 4 beautiful master suites with sitting areas and adjacent baths, and a central bath on the second floor with a steam room and heated floor. Each bedroom is comfortably decorated in the style of a 5-star boutique property and appointed with exquisite furnishings and luxury bedding; most rooms have TVs. Maximum occupancy of 20 people.
The main floor features 2 living rooms, each with large stone fireplaces and wood-beamed ceilings, one with a large-screen TV, a large kitchen, dining room, an open front rocking porch with views and beautiful enclosed side porch with views of the estate, pool and tennis court. Laundry room is in the basement. Internet/wifi access.
A large and elegant stone patio connects the main house and the cottage (where the caretakers reside) and features 2 large oblong dining tables with umbrellas, and a large grill. Next to the cottage is a large detached 4-car garage that houses a gym, game room with a ping pong, Foosball and pool table.
The main house (manor) overlooks a renovated, heated pool with a large shallow end and a smaller deep end and an exquisite pool house/cabana equipped with towels, sunscreen, and a variety of pool toys. Pool is open May-September. To the right of the pool is a tennis court.
A pond and waterfall with small boat house complete the idyllic setting on 26 acres featuring unique specimen trees and surrounded by a stone wall and gate. Enjoy relaxing walks on the tranquil and breathtaking property which is is considered an arboretum because of the diversity of flora, bring your binoculars to see unusual birds and wildlife.
*Please note my family and I live onsite in the carriage house across the brick patio from the main house.
