Summary: We had a great time at the Thickett house this past week. I was with my 13yo son, wife, and parents in their 70s. The property worked great for us. The first floor bedroom was great to allow my parents to avoid the stairs, and there was plenty of room throughout for us to be together and have our space. The kitchen was a little lacking of some items that would have been helpful. The highlight of this property through is definitely the back yard. The very large yard with outdoor tv, grill area, plenty of seating to relax, and the nice sized pool and spa were what we enjoyed the most. We did need to text the manager when we wanted the spa turned on, but she was very responsive. We paid to heat the pool, and that was nice, but they will only heat to 80. This did make the pool enjoyable, but a few more degrees would have been nice. They also had a small area with a 8 ft basketball rim that was great for my son to play around with. Neighborhood was quiet, the house does back up to a major road, so there was some road noise, but it wasn't constant. Finally, the location for a Vegas vacation was perfect. We were just 20-25 mins from the airport and the strip, so we were able to get a taste of Vegas and then retreat back to peace of the neighborhood. Also plenty of grocery stores and restaurants near by. In all, this was a good week, and we all enjoyed our stay.
