This charming stone holiday house, complete with private swimming pool, offers peace and tranquility amidst the stunning scenery of Lot et Garonne. Dating back to the 18th century, it has been completely restored by its owners and now offers a peaceful holiday retreat. The main house has three bedrooms: the first, on the ground floor, benefits from a private bathroom. Upstairs a bedroom with two single beds turns into a room for 4 with 2 pull-out beds, making it ideal for children. The third bedroom is very spacious and includes a large sofa with television and video games (a Wii). The second house is located close to the pool and has two double bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom. The house is ideal for guests seeking peace and privacy as it also has an open-plan kitchen and living area.
There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, with a selection of questrian centers and hiking trails are nearby. You may wish to hire one of the few bicycles on offer and explore the local area oe hop in a car and explore some of the most beautiful bastides in the south-west of France. Be sure to visit the walled city of Villeneuve-sur-Lot and enjoy its many summer events. Founded in 1253 by Alphonse de Poitiers on the borders of Périgord and Guyenne, Villeneuve-sur-Lot was one of the largest and most powerful bastides in the Haut-Agenais.
