The apartment is situated in a small village on the outskirts of Stresa on Lake Maggiore. The village is surrounded by forest and offers some wonderful hiking through the trees with spectacular lake views.
Stresa enjoys many Belle Époque-style buildings and villas, but its' main attractions are the picturesque Borromean Islands, which are known for their opulent palaces and well-manicured gardens. The islands can be reached via one of the ferries in the port (a 14-minute drive away).
The beautiful Park Villa Pallavicino and two local beaches are a 15-minute drive away and there are two restaurants within a 3-minute' walk from the apartment one of which doubles as a small shop during the summer season.
