The idyllic village of Sala Comacina is located on the western shore of Lake Como on the middle part of the lake. Due to the sunny and protected location, the microclimate is particularly mild, such that even olive trees can thrive there. The apartment is located directly by the lake on the top floor of a newly constructed building, finished to the highest standards of quality and with elevator access.
The apartment has three rooms: a spacious and tastefully furnished main bedroom with a big double bed, a smaller bedroom with a double bed and a small work corner, and a combined living room/kitchen with modern equipment. The well appointed bathroom has a bathtub/shower, WC and bidet. Both bedrooms have air conditioning.
The highlight of the apartment is the big terrace. It is sunlit all day long and offers a 180° panoramic view of the marvelous lake and the mountains.
Car parking space is available directly in front of the house where there is also a bus stop for the buses towards Como and Lenno / Menaggio (about twice an hour in each direction).
The idyllic village centre of Sala Comacina is a few minutes walking distance. A few cafes, restaurants and shops are available there, as well as a little beach where one can even swim in the lake.
The navigation company of Lake Como with its boats and hydrofoils serves the neighboring villages of Argegno and Lenno, both a few km from Sala Comacina. The passenger and car ferries to Bellagio in the middle of the lake and to Varenna on the eastern shore depart from Cadenabbia, 7 km to the north. The romantic Isola Comacina is reachable from Sala Comacina by taxi boat.

Note: to reach the elevator, one must climb an external stairway with 60 steps that goes from the main road up to the front of the building, the one finds the elevator that leads to the apartment.
