Summary: We were a large multi family group with 10 adults and 3 kids (teens). The house definitely accommodated all of us and is quite large. The furniture was comfortable and the concierge was pretty responsive. Overall it is a bit dated and worn but still in decent shape. The beds were firm and not terrible. It is located right on Mountaineer/Jordanelle trails so if you’re a blue skier it’s truly ski in/ski out which is fantastic. The one issue we had was parking was quite tight and one of our rental cars was parked to the right of the garage when a giant icicle fell off the house and shattered the windshield and dented the roof. Luckily no one was hurt but at a 1,000 deductible that’s a big ouch. We were warned about icicles on the other side of the garage and there was a cone placed to remind us not to walk under it, plus we were told they were having someone come out to handle them (which never happened). However we were not warned about the right side of the garage and as the house is 4 stories it wasn’t easy to notice icicles 40 feet above. We did contact Abode and asked for the homeowners insurance to help cover the damage but as of this writing we have not heard back. Overall the stay was good and I’d recommend the house with the caveat of being very careful where you park. There are 3 garage bays but only 2 are truly accessible so in wintertime you will have to make sure you are clear of the roofline when you park (and walk!) to avoid the icicles.
