Positive: Cleaned frequently - in our week long stay it was cleaned three times and towels changed halfway. On a little strip of restaurants and pool bars that were very good and convenient. Crazy Rooster is right next door, which has lovely owners, great food and drinks and pool open to all. (Heads up re their very popular and very loud parties on Mondays and Thursdays.) You can see they’ve tried to make the little areas surrounding the block of apartments characterful.
Negative: Aircon unit is only in the kitchen (2 bed apartment), and the cool air never quite filtered through to the bedrooms which were often uncomfortably hot. The 2 bed apartment doesn’t have a separate internal living space, just the kitchen which leads straight on to bedrooms, which lead to the balcony. There is a table and chairs on the balcony but it’s not as comfortable as having an indoor space. The WiFi is so weak we could rarely connect at all. The parking is just street parking and it gets busy. The communication was poor on arrival and when we tried to get in touch at the beginning of the stay. There’s no proper storage for your clothes. The balcony doors have a metal bit sticking up from the floor which both kids managed to hurt their feet on. We couldn’t work the safe, though I suppose it could have just been us. Overall, I would say the photos make it look nicer and less basic than it is.
