Positive: Overall, the apartment is great - spacious and well-located. It has two large rooms with comfortable beds, a big bathroom with a washing machine and a large shower. The kitchen includes a dishwasher as well as a coffee machine. Access to the apartment is easy, with the key located in a lockbox. Communication with the landlord was smooth as well. WiFi was also available. The apartment did not have air conditioning, but it did have a few fans.
Negative: As for the kitchen, while it was modern and well-equipped with an oven, microwave, and dishwasher, we found a few basic items missing, such as a cutting board, a proper kitchen knife, and a kitchen towel. It would also be nice to have at least one dishwasher tablet provided per day of the stay. There were only a few drops of dish soap left, which wasn’t enough for the duration of our visit. Additionally, the water boiler had a significant amount of limescale buildup, so we ended up boiling water in a pot instead. It would be appreciated if there were soap next to the sink in the toilet room, in addition to the soap provided in the main bathroom. A baby cot was available but not prepared for us before our arrival. First, we had to locate where it was stored (the bed and the mattress were kept in separate closets) and then set it up, which we struggled with quite a bit. Additionally, we had to use available towels to make the baby bed functional. That said, an extra bedsheet for the baby cot would be highly appreciated, especially since I had requested a baby cot at the time of booking. When we arrived, one of the trash bins under the sink hadn’t been emptied, which was a bit unpleasant. We also struggled to figure out where to dispose of the trash. The apartment would benefit from a small booklet with such practical information - or at least a message upon arrival. The building is currently undergoing renovations, so the kitchen window was completely covered, giving the room a bit of a dungeon-like feel. Of course, this isn’t the landlord’s fault, but it would have been helpful to be informed in advance, as the construction caused both darkness and early morning noise. Despite these few inconveniences, we still enjoyed our stay in the apartment and would be happy to return if we visit Paris again.
