Positive: The jewel of a studio is brand new, looks and smells :) very nicely and is spotless clean. A well-thought of and "not over the top" interior. Fully equipped kitchen, the bed with good quality linnen sleeps great, the rain shower is very pleasant. Air conditioner and wi-fi work flawlessly. Complimentary drinks in the fridge are a lovely gesture. There is a folder with all the information you need about the studio and the neighbourhood. It is situated in the southern part of Bucharest at a quiet street, so I could rest there really well, while being a very light sleeper. The apartment is situated 5 mins walk from tram 32 that brings you to the central square Piata Unirii (only 4 stops). I could pay with my Maestro card in the tram, then bought an unlimited weekly travel pass for merely EUR6 and explored the city by public transport. The transportation system works perfectly. There is a convenience store at 3 mins walk and also supermarkets like Lidl nearby. I would suggest restaurant Britannia located less than 10 mins walk from the studio: good food, affordable prices, friendly English-speaking staff and it was full of locals both times I dined there, which is always a good sign. Finally, the host Cristi is absolutely fantastic, being "invisible" (the hosts live downstairs while the studio is upstairs and you have complete privacy), he is always there "online" to help with anything you need or answer any questions you have. He kindly permitted early check-in and late check-out without any extra costs, which I am really grateful for. Definitely coming back again!
