Positive: Aplai Dome is in the perfect location for Oia, it is a 7 minute walk to town & the bus station. All the buses go to Fira & then you can change to wherever you want to go. It is off the main road so you don’t get all the noise. I stayed for two nights in October 2025. The room is nice with good WiFi, & ample plug sockets. The bathroom has a good shower. Air con works well. Breakfast is nice outside overlooking the pool with a variety of salad, fruit, cereal, bacon, eggs, pasties, cakes, juices & hot drinks. The perfect stay for Oia & seeing the iconic blue domed Church at anytime of day.
Negative: The pool is large but not heated so can be on the chilly side. Nice to lounge around the pool in the sun.
