Positive: The location is good for exploring the countryside - very quiet and rural, with views of countryside and sheep grazing. The bedrooms were well-equipped and the bathrooms were decent.

Negative: The property was completely dark on arrival. I had to phone the owners to come down, turn lights on and show me where to go. Not a great start. The kitchen had one bowl and 3 tumblers for 5 of us. The knives were blunt. It took a long time for the property to warm up - it was freezing when we arrived.

Summary: Good for walking, but arrival and kitchen were disappointing
