Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Well equipped and cosy cottage with newly refurbished kitchen and bathroom. Loved the fireplace in the living room and decided to stay in and cook each night as felt very comfortable and spacious for two people. In a quiet village a short drive from Keswick but literally round the corner from a good pub with nice food and atmosphere. Would happily stay again.

Negative: Noise from the above property would transmit with surprising ease through to the bedroom so although the neighbours were in no way antisocial, we were occasionally disturbed by loud creaking footsteps from above in the night. Generally very clean but signs of dog hair on and around sofa which my wife was slightly allergic to requiring anti-histamine.

Summary: Lovely stay in a well equipped and cosy cottage
