"Bear Necessities" is a quiet place to get away from the noise and hustle of daily life. Inside you will find all comforts of home including all new furnishings, a kitchen with everything you will need, AC/Heat, Wi-Fi, landline phone, Washer/Dryer and Alexa. Relax on the porch of your choice or stay inside this 2000 sq. ft. home. Move the portable fire pit to your favorite spot and stare up at the stars at night. The property spans 66 acres and borders National Forest.
The space

Bedrooms: All bedrooms are upstairs. At the top of the stairs is what I call "the lobby" where there is also a Queen Futon that is good for 1 adult or 2 children for sleeping. Two bedrooms upstairs have Queen beds. There is plenty of room in either for a crib or playpen. The third bedroom is a bunk room with 3 sets of bunk beds. The bunks are very sturdy and can hold 1000 lbs. That is 6 single beds in one room! All mattresses are new and what we use in our primary home. They are very comfortable.
The only closet is located in the primary bedroom.

Bathrooms: The primary bedroom has a private full bath with tub/shower combo. The other two rooms upstairs have to use the downstairs bathroom with shower, toilet, sink.

Living/Dining: There is no TV in this home. It is our personal choice as this is our oasis from normal life.
There is a leather sofa, loveseat and chair. The floors are ceramic for easy cleaning. Included in this open room is a handmade dining table that seats 12. The rustic closet surrounded by stone is where you will find extras of things you might need for your stay. There are also games and coloring books.

Kitchen: There is a full set of pots and pans, crockpot, dinnerware for 16, coffee pot (does not turn off automatically), knives, toaster oven, dishtowels - you name it we've got it. Just ask and we'll let you know if it is there.

Outdoors: There is a charcoal Weber grill and utensils. There are corn hole boards and bags. Chairs and portable fire pit. There are a couple hammocks in the pantry.
Bring your BB gun and hang cans for a fun competition.

Guest access: The garage is off-limits. Please do not walk about the property. This is our hunting land and we like to keep the woods undisturbed.

Other things to note:
***There is no TV in the home. *** However, the wi-fi is great and we have watched movies and shows on our laptops.
There is very spotty/bad cell service in the area. When leaving the house, get your directions ready using the home wi-fi before leaving.

***Outdoor Pets*** There is a large, fenced in dog yard on the property. Outdoor Pets will be considered. NO INDOOR PETS

EXTRA SPACE: There is a small, one room, cabin on the property that is sometimes rented. If you are interested in extra space we can see if it is booked. It sleeps 4 people in 2 bunks. There is no electricity, water, or wifi at the small cabin which is about 200 yards from the main house. Private message me if you need this space.

There is a blue spigot outside to the right of the house. It will not be clear at first but will clear up. Feel free to use this to wash off if needed.
