Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A great one night stop over in Vessem on our way to Germany. Absolutely stunning garden, in beautiful and tranquil settings. We took a walk after dinner and loved the feel of the surroundings. It would have been great to have a coffee in the garden on a different day but we were tired after a long drive, so didn't get round to doing that. The house was an architectural delight. Everything else was in good order, clean, comfortable beds, good shower.

Negative: Would have preferred an ensuite ideally, but for one night it's fine. Would have also preferred if it's a separate place altogether to the main house. Having said that, we were grateful that our host allowed us a have a peep in their beautifully inspiring living space.

Summary: Great stopover in beautiful surroundings.
