*Of note: we have garbage day on Thursdays - the garbage you collect proceeding garbage day (we provide 2 bag tags to week long renters) & recycling must be taken w you on check out

***Cottage is bring your own linens- we provide mattress & pillow protectors only*** No towels, bedding provided
** Please use common courtesy - donโt have the patio doors open if the AC is running, donโt leave the lights on if you arenโt inside, turn TV off if no one is watching, turn coffee maker off if you arenโt using, turn propane off on BBQ & turn oven off when finished cooking. Propane provided for bbq, there is also a propane heater - please do not switch the propane from the bbq to it - if youโd like to use the heater you must purchase your own propane (you can do so at Rideau Ferry Store (1040 Rideau Ferry Rd - less than 5 mins away)
No feminine products or wipes down the tiolet.
Indoor dining table is extendable by flipping bar underneath
Please wash & put all dishes & brush bbq upon check out

Floating dock may be pushed out & anchored no more than 6 meters from shore (you are not required to bring it in at check out or at night unless it is calling for a storm).

The ladder for the bunk bed is not actually attached so use w caution
If anything is damaged it will be the responsibility of the guest to pay to replace. Please notify us immediately so we can rectify the problem before our next guests.

Most of our furniture is fairly new so please treat it as you would your own.
Please donโt allow dogs on beds or furniture.
Please keep the bunkie doors closed at all times besides going in & out to prevent animals from entering. Of note: the bunkies are obviously hot in the daytime only being cooled by a fan - when the sun goes down they are actually quite comfortable
If it is calling for rain please place all patio cushions indoors, cover the sandbox & bbq
If you plan to launch a boat you will have to do so at Bass Lake Lodge at 6 B12 (613-283-0136) or Bass Lake Campground 2 B1. If youโre interested in renting a boat we suggest Perth Boat Rentals 613-390-2628. Approx 20 mins from cottage or Rideau Lakes Resort (8 Rideau Ferry Rd- 343-881-1404). Bass Lake Lodge rents a pontoon boat as well. If you want to rent a kayak or peddle boat we recommend Smiths Falls Pedal & Paddle 613-285-9577- they will bring it right to the cottage, no delivery fee
Youโre only 14 mins by car to Walmart in Smiths Falls & various grocery stores, banks, restaurants etc
4 mins to Rideau Ferry store which also has a LCBO & Beer Store attached (go back out Old Kingston Rd & turn left on Rideau Ferry)
Also located beside the store are;
Jimmyโs Snack Shack - Greek & Canadian food located there
CCโs Restaurant - live music- visit: https://www.ccsontherideau.com/event-calendar. Very cool place!
We recommend you bring bug spray for the nights & water shoes (close to shore we sometimes experience some zebra muscles).
Essentials provided: Tiolet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishes & cutlery, can opener, corkscrew, pots & pans, Tupperware, scissors, spatula, cheese grater, tongs, toaster, tea pot, garbage bags, laundry soap, dryer sheets, hand soap, pillows, coffee & filters, couple board/yard games
