Summary: First, the trash was left in the garage from the previous persons stay. Second, most dishes we took out of the cabinets to use, needed rewashing. Third, the refrigerator smells like something died in it, so did the freezer. It was awful! Fourth, the garbage disposal didn't function. We assume this was the awful smell coming from the sink. No amount of hot water or soap took away the odor. Fifth, there were bugs stuck to the vent hood. We noticed this, as we were cooking and stopped to wipe some of them off, to keep them from falling into the food we were making. Sixth, we were left 1 kitchen trash bags for 5 days. 4 people in 5 days produce more trash than that. I would recommend leaving bags for future guests. Seventh, the dock should be added to your "to do" list between guests. There were old containers of worms left from previous guests and they smelled rancid. Lastly, if there is a ladder for the dock, it would be helpful to guests. We spent a large majority of our time in the lake, but struggled to get out. The home is beautiful, but needs attention. Host hires someone to manage and they never respond.
