Positive: Nice apartment & good location - with parking.
Negative: 3 days before our stay we received an email demanding a โ‚ฌ500 security bank transfer (or as we negotiated bank cheque)which they wanted before our arrivalโ€ฆโ€ฆ (we had paid in full at the time of our booking 2 months earlier, and had email confirmation from the owners, so we were surprised by this belated demand)which we suggested we would hand over upon our arrival (as by the time of the email we were already travelling)- plus enquiry re if we wanted to pay extra โ‚ฌ40 for use of their linens (which we had expected) - upon arrival we posted the cheque (plus our provided stamped addressed return envelope) into the, named post box, on-site and we WhatsApp a picture of this happening as proof of our providing thisโ€ฆ. The owners had withheld the final information about gaining access to the apartment via the key box - until after this exchangeโ€ฆ.. There was a strong feeling of miss trust on their partโ€ฆ. This coloured our stay as we felt unable to to relax in the apartment so much so that we did not feel able to use the place to itโ€™s full extent - only using the bathroom and not the kitchen at allโ€ฆ.. Also to this date (02.10.2024) a month later we have not received the return of our โ‚ฌ500 cheque
Summary: Very nice apartment but stay made poor by late demands from owners
