Positive: From the facilities to the staff, Blackfriars offered us one of the best experiences we’ve had in the Scottish Highlands. Located just a few minutes from Inverness train station, it’s perfectly situated close to the town’s main attractions. The room was cosy, spacious, clean, and quiet—despite being right above the pub. The pub itself offers excellent breakfast, as well as great options for lunch and dinner (plus live music). The staff are warm, friendly, and very welcoming.
Negative: The maintenance rooms were just outside our bedroom, so there was some noise from the morning cleaning.
