Riviera Maya, is a very popular vacation destination for people from all over the globe. The beaches are ranked among the best in the world, the jungle cenotes (underground rivers and swimming holes) are numerous, the only coastal Mayan ruin is nearby at Tulum and a day trip can take you to other Mayan sites. There are many great restaurants and markets for fantastic fresh and healthy food.
There are parks such as Xel- Ha, Xcaret, Xplor and others that provide a nice experience for the family.
The easiest and efficient way to get around is to have a car.Go to explore nearby cenotes, underground rivers,visit secluded beaches. If you don't want to rent a car, no problem. You can take a public transport literally just few minutes’ walk away from the condo. Also, you can hire a taxi to get places as well.
CONDO RULES:
1. Condo is NOT rented to people under 30 years of age unless visiting with people over 30 such as families etc.
2 No smoking inside condo and no parties please.
3 Housekeeping - The unit will provide initial bathroom amenities, paper towels, toilet paper and basic cleaning, a one-time linen-towel setup supplies prior to arrival. Guests are responsible for additional household and personal supplies if staying longer than a week.
4 Damage deposit- deposit is required, but it is fully refundable at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage.
5 Please conserve the electricity and use A/C when needed only. Please don't leave A/C when you are not in condo. Please close the windows when you use A/C.
6 Check in time is after 4 pm (I’m very flexible when I can, so let me know in advance when you arrive). Check out is at 11 am. If we don’t have a guest coming in right after your check out, we can arrange of you leaving your bags in condo and do a later check out.

Summary: I stayed at this apartment for about 6 days during New Years holiday. The apartment itself is great, very spacious, well decorated, and with a very nice balcony view. It was within a larger community called Bahia Principe, so you would need a car to get in and out. Overall experience was positive except we had very little information from management. We received a Welcome email from the property manager (Darren) a few days before arriving. He indicated we would receive a guide to the community, the apartment, and a permission sheet to gain access to the community after leaving, as well as to the beach club and the resort's amenities. We did not receive any of these items . The property managers were not responsive via e-mail or Whatsapp texts at the numbers they indicated to get in touch with them. It was only until day 2 when I called them directly did one respond and was able to provide the access paper within the hour. No other guides were provided. My partner and I had to go to the main resort lobby to get information about the resort amenities, and even this was inaccurate as we were told we could access the NYE event on the beach, but when we tried the entry point guards indicated it was closed past 5 to us. We still had a good time overall but compared to other VRBO properties I've stayed at, the management/customer service for this property was poor.
