Summary: My kids said this was the best hotel they ever stayed at- mostly because it's on a horse farm overlooking a beautiful distant view of the ocean and the city of Akureyri. The check in was a little confusing because there was no one there, so we had to call internationally to find out how to get in. The studio appartment is on the 2nd floor- it had LOTS of room to spread our suitcases out. There was an easy to use pull out futon for the kids and a nook with another 2 person bed. Very quiet area. Nice view. The horses let us pet them :) would recommend staying here.
