The villa is a stoneโs throw away from 2 golden sandy beaches. Beautiful cliff top walks. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy many courses: Quinta do Gramacho and Vale da Pinta, plus Silves and Alvor are all close. For fun loving families both the Slide & Splash and Aqualand water parks are also within a ten minute drive.The village of Benagil has 5 restaurants all with in walking distance to the villa, which serve locally caught fresh seafood. Kayaking and boat excursions offering dolphin watching or viewing the worldโs most photographed sea caves and much more on offer, from your doorstep. Carvoeiro is a 5 minute drive away with an abundance of restaurants, gift shops and bars to suit all tastes.
We also wish to inform that The Lagoa Municipal Tourist Tax came into force on 13 April 2024, in accordance with Regulation no. 425/2024, published in Diรกrio da Repรบblica no. 72 of 12/04/2024.
The tax applies to guests staying athotels, resorts, tourist apartments, rural tourism developments, campsites and local lodging (AL) establishments, including hostels. The charge is โฌ2 per night during the high season(April to October) andโฌ1 during the rest of the year(November to March) per person, up to amaximum of seven straight nights for all tourists aged 13 or older.
Certain exemptions apply, including guests aged 12 and younger, guests with proved disabilities exceeding 60%, national and foreign students attending the University of the Algarve for up to 60 days straight at the beginning of each academic year, guests staying in Lagoa for medical treatment (including one other person), and guests who have been offered accommodation by a tourist or AL establishment.
