Well-equipped to Visit Englands '4 Star' standard, it retains many original features such as exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace with bread oven. It also boasts a pretty cottage garden with lovely views across the lake, home to a variety of birds. Historic Sherborne, 4 miles, has two castles and interesting antique and book shops.
