Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The garden/swimming-pool area was really nice. Everything was very clean when we arrived and they changed towels and cleaned again once during the stay. The air-conditioned worked very well and it was a life safer on the hotter days. The host quickly responded to everything and was very helpful. It was a super quiet area, with no car noises or loud parties. It was very close to several beaches and you can easily walk to Praia da Coelha. There’s also a decent sized supermarket not far away. Apolonia is a short ride as well (6m by car). The photos are accurate to the state and feel of the house.

Negative: I think the price is way too high for the house but that’s algarve for you. If you’re very into cooking, the kitchen is a bit on the basic side, utensils wise. The dish-washer could definitely use an update - it works but it’s in a bad condition. One of the bathrooms has a really strong smell. They tried to make it better with an air-freshener but you can still feel it. There are no “persiana”/blinds on the windows, so you get loads of light very early in the morning - they should really consider that for the bedrooms.

Summary: Overall, algarve absurd rental prices aside, it was a very nice stay!
