Summary:
PLEASE NOTE: During 2024 the building "Centrium" will be externally wrapped in scaffolding with remedial works planned to upgrade the external cladding throughout the year. We have been notified this will be conducted in stages but as yet, do not know when. When scaffolding is erected, the balconies will be out of use.
Our apartments at Centrium offer privacy, space and the comforts of a home. Set within a private residential development within the town centre of Woking, this apartment is fully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. Long and short-term bookings available. Suitable for both business and leisure travellers. Apartments are within commutable distance of London and, the South Coast. This property has the option of parking for one car in a designated space. Daily charges apply and must be requested when booking.
The Space:
A bright and airy one double bedroom apartment with open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Balcony off the main living space. The kitchen is fully integrated with fridge/freezer, full size electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and full set of cookware, cutlery, crockery and glassware. The bathroom is generous in size with thermostat controlled shower over bath.
Our one bedroom apartment is only suitable for a maximum of two people.
Parking is available for one car on a strict pre-booking arrangement as spaces are not guaranteed. Parking is charged at £6 per 24hrs.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to all areas of the apartment including the onsite gym and sauna room located on the ground floor of the development. Key fob access essential.
The Neighborhood:
Woking is regarded as a commuter town due to its close proximity to London reaching Waterloo Main within 20-30 minutes by train. The town centre has two modern shopping centres 'Wolsey Place' and 'The Peacocks', redeveloped in 2010 there are over 170 shops within 5 minutes walk from the building. The artisan market place named 'Market Walk' provides a fresh shopping experience by linking the two areas open every day of the week.
A real 'cafe culture' runs through the town with a plethora of eating establishments and coffee shops, a variety of budgets are catered for.
First class leisure and entertainment facilities in the local area will appeal to those with a broad range of interests. There are numerous bars, pubs and restaurants, along with the Nova multiplex cinema. For those with a more cultural outlook there is the New Victoria Theatre, the Lightbox Museum and gallery overlooking the water of the Basingstoke Canal.
The area has much to offer those who enjoy the great outdoors. Attractively landscaped Woking Park is just a 10 minutes walk away where the leisure centre can be found with an indoor swimming pool. Other popular sporting facilities available are, tennis courts, five-a-side football pitches, a cricket pitch, bowling greens, crazy golf, a skate park and a children's adventure playground.
Slightly further afield is Woking Golf Club, founded in 1893 it is the oldest heathland course in Surrey. A further 8 golf courses are situated in the local vicinity. Other local sports clubs include, football, rugby, hockey, cricket, basketball and gymnastics. For those who enjoy a slower pace of life the local area offers opportunities for quiet walks and picnics at RHS Gardens Wisley, Horsell Common and along the River Wey and Wey Navigations that pass through the borough.
Getting Around:
Woking mainline train station is less than a 2 minute walk from Centrium with fast access to London Waterloo main within 30 minutes that runs every 5 minutes during peak hours. Fast access to the southcoast to towns such as Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Weymouth and Exeter. The M25 motorway is also very closeby taking approx 20 minutes.

Not all bookings have an included housekeeping service. If this service is not inclusive, it can be requested as an extra service. This service is adaptable to personal preference. For our inclusive service we will contact you prior to arrival to finalise arrangements.
Our apartments are equipped to be fully self contained with cleaning products and materials supplied for you. We can also provide additional bed linen and towels. We do not replenish cleaning products during stay.
This apartment is a solo apartment set within a private residential development. The staff onsite are security for the building, they are unable to assist our guests except hand keys over at check in. They do not necessarily know where your apartment is located so please follow the guidelines we send you.
Please note this apartment is in the centre of town therefore external noise is to be expected from both traffic and/or railway.
