Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Fully-renovated one-bedroom condo at Chateau LeVeaux has amazing views! You can't beat this location right on the water with easy access to all the outdoor activities you desire! After a day of outdoor activities, return to this modern condo in a classic building with an exceptionally comfortable king bed with plenty of under-bed storage to store your gear out of sight. The full-sized futon sofa can be used for an extra guest or two.
Enjoy the North Shore life in our cozy and comfortable condo located at Chateau LeVeaux. Since 1973, Chateau LeVeaux has been a favored destination for its amazing views, perfect location, and communal amenities. Enjoy an expansive outdoor deck, a community gathering space with fireplace, games, and TV, sauna, renovated pool and hot tub. Guests also have access to a game room with another fireplace, pool table, ping pong, and foosball.

Access the building and condo via key pad. Door codes will be provided a few days prior to check-in. Although the condo is on the ground floor, there are 12 steps down the ground level from the main entrance (like a 1970s-era split-level style). There are also steps down to the pool and steps up to the common area.
The driveway is steep and well-sanded in the winter, but a 4WD vehicle still may be needed.

Chateau LeVeaux is centrally-located between Tofte and Lutsen with easy access to Lutsen Mountain, Grand Marais, the Superior Hiking Trail, Cascade River State Park, and Gitchi Gami bike trail. There is so much to see and enjoy!
Firewood not provided, but readily available for purchase at local businesses. We prefer the use of Duraflame logs for cleaner burning and less mess.
No dogs allowed due to owner allergies.
Outdoor cooking/grilling not allowed on the patio or rooftop deck. Please use the communal fire pits and grills.
Check-in is after 4:00 and check-out is before 11:00. Due to the number of condos that our cleaner is responsible for, we can not accommodate early check-in or late check-out.
Chateau-LeVeaux is a 1970s-era building and the walls are thin. Guests may hear other guests in neighboring condos including upstairs neighbor.
Although he building employs local pest control and we have new screens on the door and window, this is the the north woods and guests may still experience some bugs in the condo.
All common building amenities including the pool, hot tub, sauna, and game room may be closed for unplanned maintenance or emergencies without advanced notice. Building staff will reopen amenities as quickly as possible.
Any violation of the pet, smoking, or event rules will result in a $500 cleaning fee.
