Positive: Beautiful property with mango and banana trees all around. Very bright and full of natural light cabana. Open space on both floors. Fully stoked kitchen and amenities (if you have to time to cook). Gite is made with taste. there are a few art pieces and photos from the local artists. You can hear the birds, rain falling and breathe fresh air throughout your stay. it’s an incredible experience especially for someone from the city. Full size French style bath (THANK YOU, Patrice) with an opening to the nature and the sea - was dreamy. Patrice is an amazing host, very helpful, goes beyond with hospitality. He left mangoes and bananas for us from his garden. Property is not easily found on Google Maps, definitely text Patrice ahead of time for more details. Google messes up with maps for some reason. Cabana is also very close to the port where you can take a ferry to different islands. It’s located in Basse-Terre with beautiful nature, volcanic beaches, hidden waterfalls, volcano, lots of greenery. if you’re an adventurer like us, this is the spot for you. take the time to explore and relax in the cabana after. Highly recommend and would be back in a heartbeat.
