Positive: The chalet is located at an altitude of 1,550 metres. The final 4 km of the route to the chalet is a narrow, paved mountain road. Please note that in winter and when there is snow, be careful of slippery conditions and watch out for oncoming traffic, as the road is only wide enough for one car in some places. It is an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and experience the wonderful Swiss mountain life. The house itself is a traditional Swiss mountain log cabin with a unique interior that perfectly suits its location and the house itself. The accommodation is exactly as shown in the pictures: a large dining and restaurant area downstairs, plus cosy nooks where you can just relax. Upstairs, there are rooms of various sizes, plus a smaller lounge area. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. I liked that there was no TV in the rooms. Breakfast was plentiful. You can also eat at the on-site restaurant. They serve delicious local raclette and fondue, sourced directly from a neighbouring farm. There are amazing views of the mountains. However, the weather conditions in the mountains can change at times, so you might not always get that amazing view (clouds can obstruct in the view). There are also many hiking trails and cows near the accommodation. Pets are allowed. Huge praise to the hostess and her staff. It felt like we were at home. The hostess communicated with us in English.
