Positive: A very good location for hiking, beautiful walks through the forest just around the corner. There are some nice Ardennes attractions nearby, like Schloss Reinharstein. The cottage's got everything you need. Nothing brand new but everything in good shape. Really clean. Plenty of information about the area. And they even put up Christmas decorations!

Negative: We found this cottage on Booking but it is rented out by Belvilla. That makes it difficult to communicate. We had a rough start. We mentioned to both Booking and Belvilla that we would bring our dog. But the owners somehow did not get that message and were very annoyed when they saw him. If you consider this cottage please keep in mind: - there's a deposit; - there is a city tax p. person p. night not included in the rent; - water and electricity are not included in the rent and are not cheap; - when you bring your dog make sure the owners know! - also bring a cage for the dog (we didn't know but were told on arrival that it's obligatory); - the garden is not completely gated so dogs can't go off leash (there are deer next door and chickens across the road); - the cottage is situated in and below the house of the owners.
