His great-great-granddaughter, Eugรฉnie de COUCY, was born here in 1791. She was the second wife of Marshal Nicolas OUDINOT, and became Duchess of REGGIO.
The village is crossed by the Lanterne River (Category 1 for fish farming), where fishing is possible, as well as in two nearby ponds with a total area of 75 hectares. A 7-km educational trail surrounds this body of water to observe and discover its biodiversity.
