Summary: The property was actually two separate houses, a 3-bedroom and a 2-bedroom, each equipped with kitchen, living room, and bathroom. This was absolutely ideal for our 6 week stay as it allowed our family to stay comfortably in one house while hosting extended family and friends in the other. Additionally, there was a spacious garage, complete with foosball and pool tables, that I was able to use as an office, in complete isolation from the houses. The plot, an old farm, is lavishly spacious, if a little weathered, and was great for entertaining as well as living and working. We found olives, oranges, lemons, pomegranates, bananas, and figs growing, either wild or cultivated, and the oranges in particular were very tasty. Moncarapacho is a 20min walk away and had some shops, restaurants and a quaint village square. Note that tap water in both houses comes from a courtyard well and isn't suitable for drinking. We avoided using it for cooking as well, although this was probably not necessary. Gustavo, our host, was very attentive and quick to address issues during our extended stay. Some trivial problems we fixed ourselves to avoid inconveniencing him. If you are looking for something pristine and modern, this may not the Vrbo for you. If, like us, you are looking for something with character and plenty of space for a reasonable price, I wouldnโ€™t hesitate to recommend this charming villa.
