Beyond the living area opens in fronto of you. The dual aspect lounge is bright, airy and very welcoming with a cosy log burning stove, comfortable sofa and arm chairs, a pretty window seat overlooking the valley and TV. The open plan kitchen / diner with a second log burning stove features floor to ceiling south facing picture window and patio doors that open on the first of two patios the cottage has to offer. Relax over a social dinner or a hearty breakfast at the family dining table. The contemporary fitted kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and washer/drier. A feature oak staircase leads from the sitting room to the first floor. The first bedroom is presented with a welcoming kingsize bed and smart ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a pretty double room and both bedrooms incorporate the original oak beams and offer views across the Troutbeck Valley. The smart family bathroom includes a boutique style feature bath with shower attachment, basin and WC. Back outside and the cottage offers a choice of two patios. There is a pleasant sheltered and gravelled patio area to the front of the property with a couple of chairs and a paved walkway to the side of the property, and from the patio doors from the dining room, lead to a sheltered and enclosed rear patio area, an ideal place to relax and dine with a lovely aspect over the neighbouring gardens and enjoying the picturesque view across the valley.
