Summary: I have struggled with whether to submit this review, but I value objective reviews when selecting a property, so here are my honest impressions of our stay. April (host) was really responsive + very accommodating - I would rate her as a super host. The location of the condo is great - a short block from Mayfield Road, in the heart of Little Italy. The condo has a nice deck area with outdoor furniture + a grill. The disappointing part was the condo's condition. It had been vacuumed + all surfaces (except window sills + blinds) cleaned prior to our arrival. However, the apartment is really cluttered + tired looking. The bedroom closets had extra furniture (a desk, a chair, a large mirror) stashed inside; kitchen + bathroom cabinets were full of supplies, old towels, random kitchen equipment, + drawers were just full of "stuff." The bath towels had dryer lint on them + smelled stale. The unit is quite dark inside, due to wall colors + dark furnishings. The bathroom arrangement is unusual: a separate bathtub + very basic shower in the very dated bathroom, + a toilet (with no sink) in the laundry room. The place just looks really tired. A little TLC would make it a stand-out rental property, which would merit a higher rate. Meanwhile, this is an adequate no-frills property in a great location. with a super host.
