New construction near Yosemite National Park, in a peaceful mountain retreat. 13 acres with one other rental available for family or friends. Seasonal creeks, oak and pine trees and an abundance of wildlife. Convenient proximity to Yosemite only 30 miles to Yosemite and 3.1 miles to the historic town of Mariposa.
The space
Property has 2 vacation rentals on 13 acres of beautiful forest. The second home also available for rent is Bear Paw. This newly built house is 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms with showers to ensure privacy and convenience during your stay. The kitchen has all the amenities you need to prepare meals and store leftovers. There is a rustic handmade counter with barstools for eating or a covered patio with beautiful views and great opportunities for wildlife viewing. You will find a smart TV in the living area and both bedrooms so bring your favorite streaming codes for down time. Wifi is provided. Best of all you enter the home into a mud room, where you can drop off the days supplies. There is a stackable washer and dryer available for you as well. You will find games and books to enjoy while visiting.

We are conveniently located 2 miles off Hwy 140. The road is paved until you get to the driveway and it is a well maintained gravel entrance. You will access Yosemite from Hwy 140, a beautiful scenic drive along the Merced River. In my opinion the most beautiful drive into Yosemite. You will have access to the whole house and 13 acres of beautiful oak and pine filled forest. Parking is very easy.

Summary: We stayed here for our first trip to Yosemite NP. It really was the perfect cabin. It's very clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We used the grill every night. The home was kept cool with central AC. This would be a great rental for 2 couples, one bed and bath on each side of the home with shared living space in the middle. It's a nice big property, quiet and although there are 2 homes, one on each side, it feels very private with a good amount of space between the other properties. Glen and Theresa reply very quickly and are easy to get a hold of. There is a good size, full service grocery store within a 10 minute drive and good restaurant choices within the same distance. It's about a 1 hour drive to get to Yosemite Valley. The drive is nice alongside the Merced River which was roaring this season. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend. Glen and Theresa, thank you for the farm fresh eggs, snacks and for sharing your perfect cabin with us!
