The kitchen is equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, combination microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. TV in living room and bedroom. ## Access The complete house boat is yours during your stay. You can use a washer / dryer in the shared laundry room. This can be used for a fee. ## Neighborhood De house boat is located in harbor 'De Oude Werf', just 15 min. waling from the center of Aalsmeer and a large supermarket. You will be staying next to a large lake area where you can swim, kayak, and experience many other watersport activities. The banks of the lake are riddles with harbor areas, bars/restaurants with terraces and recreation areas. The interconnected lakes have a total area of over 10km2 and exist of one large lake, one smaller lake and hundreds of small islands within them. It's a great experience to navigate the lakes and small waterways that connect them and the islands. The town of Aalsmeer has a small but fun center where you can go to shop or to enjoy a drink in the town harbor. There is an outdoor market every Tuesday. Also to be found in Aalsmeer: a casino, horti-culture museum and a number of great restaurants. And of course, the biggest flower (tulips!) auction of the country, which is still functional. ## Transit The houseboat is only a 10 min drive from Schiphol Airport and 20 minutes from Amsterdam. You can park your (rental) car right next to the boat. Take note: parking tariffs in Amsterdam can be very expensive, easily 5 euro per hour. Save money by parking at the P+R RAI (1 euro per day if you arrive after 10:00am) and take public Directions: Take the ring road A10, exit S109. Open from 07:00am to midnight. Max stay: 24 hours. PUBLIC TRANSPORT The nearest bus stop is 15 minutes walking. From there it is 40 minutes by bus to Amsterdam and 20 to Schiphol Airport. ## Notes - Check-in between 15:00 and 22:00.
