Positive: The house is literally attached to the Omelet restaurant. We had the ability to get breakfast easily. The house was large and had most of the amenities needed for our stay. It is a .6 mile walk to downtown Ogunquit and short walks to several restaurants too.
Negative: The parking lot in from of the home is where diners for the restaurant can park. There was a corn hole game and picnic tables placed just steps from the front door of the rental and strangers walk past to get to the restaurant. We could hear the kitchen staff early in the morning as they prepped food. They also stepped out back right next to the rental property’s deck to smoke and take breaks. These things made for little privacy. We were there just as the season was heating up but in peak season, I can imagine the noise level and lack of privacy would be more of an issue. We were also not impressed with the furnishings. The couch was old and beat up. It was difficult to relax. There were no table lamps in the living rooms so we had to turn on the extra bright overhead lights. Not cozy or relaxing.
