Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: A great base from which to explore Freycinet National Park. The location was excellent - good views of the park, right next to the jetty for the cruise, and close handy to the shops. The front verandah is an excellent spot for a sundowner - and the daybed in the main bedroom was a super lounging spot. The stars at night were amazing.
Negative: The house is newly renovated and comfortable but has a bit of an impersonal feel. The bathrooms are modern and clean but not inviting - and several of the fixtures are a bit skewiff (mind the door on the second bathroom, which slides open of its own accord). No games, DVDs, magazines or brochures of what to do nearby.
