Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The instant we entered Dunstan House we were given a warm and cheerful welcome from Meredith - and eventually Ian, her husband, who was out on an emergency call - even though we had arrived many hours too early. Our stay in the historic property exceeded expectations. A most hospitable ambience pervades the whole building with lovely wooden textures everywhere. Our room was very comfortable with a pleasing outlook and lots of natural light, and although we had a shared bathroom this did not present a problem at any point in our stay. Breakfast was very tasty and I would thoroughly recommend the superb salads, savouries and sweetmeats that they serve in the café throughout the day. Dunstan House is bang in the centre of Clyde with a bar and two restaurants mere paces from the front door, and I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in town.
