The apartment features a queen sized bed and a love seat for relaxing. The office sits off the bedroom. Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our stay here! Pros: Very short walk to the metro, easy to find parking in the neighborhood, lots of good restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance, cute tree-lined street, the apartment itself was spotless when we arrived, the kitchen has everything you need to cook a quick meal with, and we felt safe the entire time! The owners were also very responsive and nice. Cons: We were expecting some noise/footsteps from the upstairs neighbors since this is a basement unit, but every night from 8 p.m. to midnight there would be very loud footsteps that sounded like they were in heeled shoes. They were super loud and hard to ignore. Also, we only had hot water to take a shower once during our four-night stay. There consistently wasn't hot water in the morning or at night. Overall, other than the footsteps and lack of hot water, we were happy with this place! We were really only there to shower and sleep, though, so it was a little frustrating to not be able to consistently do either of those things.
