Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was excellent - walkable everywhere. Could easily walk to Sao Bento station or Ribeira district. Supermarket very close by, along with many restaurants. Apartment seems newly renovated and fitted out to a very high standard - kitchen, bathroom, and cabinetry are very high end.

Negative: Despite the high end finishes of the apartment, a lot of minor details diminished the experience. For example: - Bathroom does not have a toilet roll holder or towel rails (it's almost like they never tested out the apartment on a real person) - Bathroom has an exhaust fan that is permanently on and noisy (there is no 'on/off' switch) - Property provided a free bottle of wine, but there was no corkscrew in the apartment (they did deliver this the next day) - There were only four coat hangers - No dishwashing tablets were provided (I asked but they didn't provide - I ended up having to buy this myself) - They provided two laundry pods - I asked for more but they didn't provide - Wifi stopped working - they were unable to fix during our stay
