Nestling in the countryside of one of ''the most beautiful villages of France'' with panoramic views and private pool this family friendly house with access well off the main road surrounded by fields of sunflowers is perfect for relaxing or as a base for exploring the rich sites of the Dordogne. Bergerac airport is only 45 mins drive away.
At the confluence of the Dordogne and Vezere Rivers, Limeuil village, 2 mins drive away, offers canoeing and a river beach, perfect for a picnic outing or drink at the local bar/restaurants. Here you will find a vending machine for fresh bread. 5 mins drive from the property in the pretty market town of Le Bugue are bakers, large supermarkets, banks , restaurants, pharmacies and a variety of attractions like the largest privately owned aquarium in France.
Drive leads into courtyard with main house 160m2, garden, pool and open barn with tables and benches for casual eating and table tennis.
The house is well equipped and furnished and is maintained by a local British couple. On the ground floor the property has a 36m2 farmhouse kitchen/diner with table and chairs for 8 and a small sitting area, ample cupboard space with an electric oven, electric hob, dish washer, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and an American style refrigerator and freezer.
The 37m2 lounge is equipped with a wood burner, surrounded by comfortable sofas and chairs with a large flat screen TV, a DVD and CD player and a radio, leads directly into the garden.
On this floor is also a shower room with toilet in large double storey hallway with a staircase that leads to the first floor with a central bathroom and toilet and 4 bedrooms. One side offers a large Master bedroom with king size bed, next to smaller bedroom with two singles. The other side has a large bedroom which attaches directly into to a smaller bedroom with bunk/ Singles. (Entry to the bunk room is via the large bedroom)
Garden has stunning view of the countryside and chairs to enjoy the panorama and leisurely afternoons.
