Burgau is approximately a one-hour drive from Faro Airport, with convenient car rental services available directly in the airport parking lot. Traveling by train takes about 4 to 5 hours.

Summary: The location of the flat is great, beach, ocean and breathtaking cliffs as well as wonderful walks along the coastside directly accessable from the flat.There are only two rooms with windows, three rooms (1 bedroom and both bathrooms) are without any window. There is not really a heating facility, only the turned-around air condition which makes it warm within seconds, but the warmth is also gone within seconds. The flat is cold with high humidity. We stayd mid December to mid January, so flat may be ok in summer times, but definitely not in winter times. In one windows-less room a dehumidity machine was running - and it was full every day. Additionally, we had a lot of trouble with warm water which was not available for days. After some contacts with the agency, plumbers have been sent and fixed it. Kitchen is poorly equipped, no oven (no cake, no pizza, ...), cooking facility ok, but sharp knifes, slicing knifes, knife for slicing bread etc. are missing, pans and pots ok, cutlery ok. No laundry rack available, you can't dry your towels and/or bathing cloth on the terrace, inside nothing drys due to the humidity problem. No cleaning facilities (broom, hoover, ...) are available, so you can't clean the flat during a longer stay.
