French Beach oceanfront! Beautifully updated executive four-bedroom, three-bath home overlooking the stunning Juan de Fuca Strait. Sweeping and exceptional oceanfront views from every room on the main level including office, kitchen, dining room, living room, and wrap-around deck. Master bedroom and ensuite bathroom with fantastic soaker tub and shower are privately situated on the upper floor, again with 180 ocean front views.
On the lower level are three bedrooms – one is a murphy bed/office combo, a full bathroom, as well as a shared sitting area with TV. Each bedroom includes an ocean front view, and there are two exits from the lower/split level, a walk-out to ocean view, or another to the garden area.
The property is surrounded by ocean, beautiful gardens, majestic trees and wildlife. Enjoy watching small creatures like hummingbirds as well as soaring bald eagles and sea lions from the wrap-around porch while you prep dinner on the gas-fired BBQ. If your timing is right you might also spot some whales traveling along the strait. The exceptional, gourmet kitchen features a six-burner gas range, Jura coffee machine, all appliances and more. Or just order take-out from Stoked Pizza, minutes away.
We have furnished this home for our personal use with high-end linens, towels, dishware, etc. High-speed Wi-Fi, landline with Canada-wide calling and excellent printer allows one to work from the 270-degree ocean view office (if you must). We have two office areas, one with a fixed desk and the second with an adjustable standing desk.
There is a path at the end of the street that takes you to French Beach, making it faster to walk than drive. Our place is a great jumping-off point to explore Vancouver Island’s wild southwest coast. Walk to Flea Beach, or French Beach in minutes or drive up the coast to Sandcut Beach (10 minutes), Jordan River (15 minutes), China and Mystic Beaches (20 minutes). You can also make a day of it and visit Port Renfrew (50 minutes) with stops at Sombrio Beach or Botanical Beach but try to go at low tide so you can be amazed by the vernal pools and ocean floor.
Or spend the day visiting beautiful Victoria, just an hour away.
