The Main House and Gite were built in 1820, by a Monsier Martinaeu, and is situated in the heart of the small village of Vouille les Marais, in the Vendee department,
The Gite has been fully renovated, over the last 3 years, featuring original stone walls, and beamed ceilings, there is a kitchen, Oven, Hob, Microwave, shower room, separate toilet, Washing machine. Lounge dinner, with sofa, table chairs, Tv (English and French channels) fibre optic wifi, table and chairs, outside you have a private garden, with access to the main house garden, and private parking.
Vouille is a quiet village with approx 750 inhabitants, the gite is within 100 metres of the local restaurant, small village shop, and boulangรจre.
the Village is also situated in the Marais Poitevin National park, so there is plenty of cycle and walking routes, beautiful forests and countryside for picnics etc.
The beaches are approx 30 mins away, La Rochelle approx 40 mins, the small towns of Lucon and Marans within 10-15 mins.
