Summary: My husband and I spent over a month traveling around Portugal and staying in a number of VRBOs. This was our second-last stop and we were looking forward to a stay in the country. It ended up being our favorite place and we only wish we had longer to stay! As soon as we opened the door, we knew we had found a hidden gem. The place was spotless, linens perfectly white, floors scrubbed clean, and pool blue and cool. The main bedroom was roomy and the bed was so soft and comfortable! The bathroom was roomy and the shower hot and powerful. The large living area with some flexible seating let us rearrange a bit to make it work for our own needs. We really appreciated the attention to detail that was given in the decor selection. The space has a mix of hard surfaces and soft finishings that is really lovely. Everything contributed to creating a really calming space that you immediately felt at home in. The air conditioning and wifi worked perfectly. The kitchen had all the dishes and gadgets you need to do your own cooking. We were thrilled with the easy check-in, quick responses to questions from our hosts, and true care that we enjoyed our stay. Although in the country, it is an easy drive to get to town and beaches (30 minutes or so), and there is a lot to discover on foot in the area. I would come back to this place in a heartbeat for calm, restorative vacation time or a romantic get away. It was perfect! Thank you so much to our hosts for the amazing experience.
